end-to-end digital and creative solutionss

When I began my journey in this field of new media art, it was in its infancy within India. While self-taught with the help of online resources, I found a generous amount of support around me, propelling me forward with knowledge shared and encouragement. Today, I regularly engage with learning and creative communities around me. My dream is to witness and contribute to the growth of a vibrant multidisciplinary art culture in the country.

Curriculum Designer, Mentor
/Circle Residency
From January to March 2024, Sensistan ran an 8-week new media art residency in Bangalore. It was aimed at practitioners with an interest or some basic experience in new media. The residency provided them a platform to dive deeper through a mix of training and project-based learning.
I joined in as a curriculum designer and resident mentor—this entailed curating and running workshops and training sessions, as well as guiding the different teams with their projects for the final showcase. This was a great opportunity for me to merge my professional experience in the field of new media art and my experience teaching.

I also facilitated a complete makeover of the lighting system. The theatre moved from the old custom analog system to a modern digital system with DMX and LED lights.

R&D Sound Experiences
/SVARAM
Svaram is an organization in the Auroville community known internationally for their unique world instruments, sound therapies and sound gardens.
For over a year, as part of their R&D team I have been assisting them with the possibilities of immersive and interactive sound experiences with and without digital technology. This has primarily been in the format of designing custom sound gardens for various use cases – wellness resorts, museums, etc. We are also working towards sound installations and experiences.
Teacher, Coach
/Sri Aurobindo Ashram
I studied at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education and grew up in the community surrounding it. The school engenders an integral education and provides the infrastructure for self-guided learning.
This education has been the foundation of my multidisciplinary skillset and mindset of perpetual learning. I am eternally grateful for this education and the teachers who contributed to my growth.
In the spirit of giving back, I offer my time at the school. I help students from primary level to college in electronics, science, and carpentry along with crafts, sports and other activities. This has been a great learning process for me and I have grown to enjoy it. In explaining, guiding, and re-explaining, ideas and concepts have been reinforced for me, and new approaches and perspectives revealed to me.
