2019 Barcelona, India / Interactive Installation
An interactive visual installation for Johnnie Walker’s product launch of AIR-INK.
project overview
To introduce ayahi, an experiential art collective I co-founded, we put up an exhibition – SOMNI – which displayed a series of interactive installations. The purpose of SOMNI was twofold:
First, to bring to the public an experience that integrated art, design and technology. Since the form of new media art was still very nascent in India, this exhibition was the first time that most visitors were exposed to such a medium.
Secondly, to understand how the general public connected to this art form. More precisely, what does new media art mean to the Indian public.
We took this opportunity to provide a variety of mediums and interactions through a plethora of experiences, and interact with the audience to get their feedback and response.
