Interactive installation by day, and audio visual performance by night, Sound Oasis was a commissioned installation as a space for deep listening, a series of soundscapes and visual worlds, a haven of calm amidst the electric atmosphere at Magnetic Fields Festival. Playing with an immersive diffusion, light orbs with transducers hung at the four corners around a central pyramid sculpture. Hung on each face was a chime-bell in a unique scale and tuning, that when played, triggered blooms of environmental sound related to Air, Water, Fire, and Earth.
