An interactive visual installation for Johnnie Walker’s product launch of AIR-INK.
Bosc Nocturn (Night Forest) was a project developed with IAAC for the LLUM Festival 2019 in Barcelona. The brief was to create an interactive light installation in an inaccessible, abandoned space in Poble Nou.
The installation invited people to explore the space through light by using their voices to light up the space through an LED garden. Their voices disrupted the patterns of light and were morphed to create an interactive soundscape.
As the interaction and experience designer for the project, I worked on the technical architecture, sound design as well as the LED real-time visuals.
A similar experience was created for the Echoes of Earth music festival in Dec 2022. This annual festival is held outdoors, in a field with dense foliage. The voices and words spoken into the microphone, along with the rustling of the wind through the leaves, sent modulated echoes through the trees, aptly resonating the name of the festival.A similar experience was created for the Echoes of Earth music festival in Dec 2022.
